Dear My Son's Coach,

Thank you.

Today, you taught your team that being a team was more important than playing a game. When the other team demanded that the one of our team members needed sit out because according to their religion they cannot compete against any females. You pulled the kids together and explained that we practice as a team, we compete as a team. The kids circled around and clapped and proudly walked off the court.

Today those kids learned that principles should never be compromised.

And today, I could not be more proud that Jordan is part of a great team that you have built.

love,
ro.

  1. Really - WOW! That is quite a demand to make to another team, make the female sit. Was the other team all of that religion? Good for your Coach, it was the right decision, in my opinion.

  2. That's a good coach there, to take a stand like that and teach the kids a huge lesson through his own courage.
